Why work for us?
In order to help our clients effectively TAH needs skilled and dedicated staff to deliver our services. The work can sometimes be demanding but it's also very rewarding.
The organisation is well respected within the voluntary sector and by other important stakeholders. It also enjoys a good level of support from across the wider community.
Relief Pathway Workers
To cover sickness/annual leave shifts at their Hostels in Taunton and the surrounding area. Shifts to include 12 hour days and/or nights. Relevant experience would be an advantage, although full training is given.
Volunteer Food Distributers
Arc are very lucky to be involved in a few food waste projects, where we collect leftover "waste" food from 10 different locations during the week. We now have the opportunity to collect from a new location, but we need help of the kind public to help with these collections. Could you help?
Veteran Support Worker
We are looking for someone to fill a part-time position of Veteran Support Worker, assisting our veteran clients with a smooth transition towards independence through support and encouragement.
We're looking for volunteers to help us in our busy kitchen at our largest hostel in Taunton.
Pathway Team Leader
The role of the Team Leader is to inspire Pathway Workers to achieve successful outcomes for our vulnerable clients. As a positive role model and leader, you will be responsible for the development of a high quality programme of support delivery which promotes client choice and control. You will provide support to the Operational Managers and proactively take responsibility for a number of areas to be delivered to a high standard.
