All of us at TAH are grateful to our immediate neighbours and, more widely, the people of Taunton, without whose support we could not perform our role properly. They recognise the value of the service we are able to provide locally and we, in turn, recognise that – without their positive approach to our work – we could achieve very little. 

Taunton Deane Borough Council is a key partner of TAH with the shared aim of ending rough sleeping in Taunton Deane

Sedgemoor District Council works closely with TAH in the operation of the SmartMove scheme, helping people more easily access the private rented sector

Somerset County Council is a key TAH partner in seeking to address the housing and support needs of Somerset's homeless. They provide grant funding to assist TAH's work.

Communities and Local Government (CLG) is the central government department with responsiblity for housing, local government, urban regeneration, planning and fire & rescue. The CLG provided capital funding for the refurbishment of TAH's Norie House.  

CRISIS are the national for single homeless people, dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.

The Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) aims to create thriving communities and affordable homes. They administer the Places of Change programme which funded the  Lindley House refurbishment and the creation of the TAH Training Centre.

Homeless Link is the membership organisation for frontline homelessness agencies in England, including TAH. Its mission is to be a catalyst that will help to bring an end to homelessness.

The National Housing Federation (NHF) represents 1,200 not-for-profit housing associations in England, including TAH. NHF members provide two million affordable homes for five million people.

Turning Point provide support, advice & treatment to people in Somerset with drug or alcohol problems. They work closely with TAH staff to ensure residents receive support at the right time

The Probation Service supervises those who are serving community sentences or are under supervision after a period of imprisonment. They make accommodation referrals to TAH and support some ex-offenders living in TAH properties  

Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health and learning disability health and social care services across Somerset. In particular, they provide mental health support services to a number of TAH residents.

Taunton Women's Refuge is a safe haven for women who have suffered domestic violence by. They have a close working and supportive relationship with TAH.

The Citizens Advice Bureau helps people resolve legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice, and by influencing policy makers.

Connexions is for 13 to 19 year olds wanting advice on careers, learning, health, housing, work, money, relationships etc. 

Shelter offers advice, information and support to people in housing need and campaigns for lasting political change in housing.

Avon and Somerset Police cover Bristol, Bath, Wells and Taunton as well as the more rural areas of Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Positive Action South West supports people living with HIV and their carers and raises awareness and understanding through training and education.

The Prince's Trust gives practical and financial support to young people helping them develop key skills, confidence and motivation and enabling them to move into work, education or training.

Somerset Gay Health promotes good sexual and mental health for every Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender person in Somerset.  
 
Homefinder Somerset is the way to find a social housing home in Somerset and a partnership of councils and housing associations. Applicants only have to complete one application form and can then use the Choice Based Lettings service to apply for homes they are interested in. Almost anyone can apply to join including existing social housing tenants wanting to transfer.

Somerset College of Arts and Technology (SCAT) in Taunton is at the forefront of further and higher education, providing a place of learning that inspires all who study, work and visit there.

Coleg Harlech in north Wales specialises in tailored courses. Many students were failed by traditional education and have found a new route to learning including a number of ex-TAH residents.
