About TAH
Any organisation seeking to achieve lasting success in an ethical way needs clear, strong and committed leadership.
TAH has a voluntary Board of Management who have a range of skills, knowledge and experience and are responsible for the strategic direction of TAH and for ensuring it is efficient and achieves its purpose. The Board works closely with the Chief Executive, John Shipley, who - with his colleagues in the Senior Management Team - is responsible for all operational areas of work and for maintaining positive relationships with everyone the association works with.
In 2010 the TAH Board of Management agreed the purpose of the association is to 'Work together to house, assist, support and empower homeless people in Somerset, maximising their potential and promoting independence'.
As well as this clear, shared purpose TAH has a number of key values including:-
Respect
Be polite always; appreciate the efforts of others; listen & take people’s views into account; value the different experiences and approaches others bring; behave in a way that builds self-esteem.
Integrity
